Massage Made Easy
Description: Give your friends and family the gift of relaxing massage. Anyone can learn the basic massage strokes to relieve aching muscles, relax a tense body, or just offer comfort. You'll receive hands-on experience giving simple massage to the neck, shoulders, back, arms, legs, hands and feet. Handouts and massage oil are included. Each person is to bring a pillow, and wear layers (including shorts, sleeveless shirt). You will be practicing techniques during class, so inviting a friend or partner is a must! You enroll for full price and your friend/partner enrolls free! Both persons must register. Bring a sack lunch for the one-hour lunch break (or you can eat in the Bastyr cafeteria). Course Notes: Please bring a pillow, and blanket. Wear or bring shorts and a sleeveless shirt. We will be taking a one-hour lunch. The Bastyr cafeteria will be open for your convenience. This class will take place at Bastyr’s Instructor: Sue Russell, LMP, has been a practicing massage therapist for 12 years. Over the last six years she has taught massage workshops through community education programs as well as for hospice volunteers. Sue works full-time as a Bastyr academic manager where her passion for the healing arts blends with her avocation. Course Sign Up:
